Hanna Deems Earns CPA License

MPB is pleased to announce that Hanna Deems has earned her license as a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania.

Hanna is a Senior Accountant at the firm and has over five years of experience in the profession, specializing in non-profits and governmental auditing. She also has a background in bookkeeping, payroll, and individual tax return preparation.

She’s a graduate of Youngstown State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration of Accounting, summa cum laude. Hanna’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Hanna is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an International Business Honor Society, associated with AACSB International.

The CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest standard of competence and requires advanced knowledge in the areas of Audit & Attestation, Business Environment & Concepts, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Regulation. It’s a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality.
